Telegram order bot · Nashville, TN

Chase the smoke.
Skip the line.

Rolling Thunder moves. The ordering experience moves with it. One Telegram chat tells hungry Nashvillians where the truck is parked, what is still on the smoker, and exactly when their pickup will be ready.

Launch status: demonstration bot pending public release. The Telegram link is the customer launch point; until activation, the complete non-interactive walkthrough below shows the full order.

The customer conversation

From “where’s the truck?” to order #RT-184.

A complete lunch order in one familiar chat. The bot keeps the next choice obvious, reflects live availability, and leaves no doubt about where or when to pick up.

Non-interactive customer conversation demonstration: location, menu, cart, pickup slot, name, and order-number confirmation.
01

Find the smoke

The welcome screen puts location first because the truck changes neighborhoods. Today’s address, service hours, map link, parking note, and “until sold out” caveat travel together.

02

Browse what’s actually available

The menu includes descriptions and prices, while sold-out items remain visible but cannot be added. Guests know what they missed; the kitchen avoids apologizing for orders it cannot fulfill.

03

Build the plate

Item choices unfold only when needed: quantity, plate sides, then extras. A running cart and explicit tax keep the cost transparent before the customer commits.

04

Choose a real pickup window

Only time slots with remaining kitchen capacity appear. The flow spreads arrivals across service instead of moving the same line from the sidewalk to the order window.

05

Leave with a number

The final message repeats the name, window, location, total, payment method, and hold time. Order #RT-184 gives both guest and crew one unambiguous reference at handoff.

Designed for a moving lunch rush: every key answer is available in two taps, and every choice is made with Telegram’s native buttons. Typing is reserved for the pickup name.
What the bot does

A tiny counter that fits in a pocket.

No separate account, unfamiliar checkout, or hunting through yesterday’s social post. The bot handles the repeat questions and the order basics so the crew can keep slicing and serving.

Live stop & hours

One source of truth for today’s address, service window, map pin, and arrival instructions. An overnight reset prevents an old stop from looking current the next morning.

Menu with live stock

Each item carries a price, plain-English description, and availability state. Sold-out food is disabled instantly while the rest of the menu keeps taking orders.

Capacity-aware slots

Pickup windows stop accepting orders at a set capacity. That protects promised times during a rush and gives the crew a steadier ticket cadence.

Clear order summary

Selections, sides, tax, pickup time, and payment expectations appear before confirmation. Customers can step back to edit instead of abandoning the chat.

Reliable confirmation

A unique Rolling Thunder order number is generated only after the slot is reserved. The same ticket appears for customer and crew, reducing name mix-ups at the window.

Useful recovery paths

Guests can view or cancel an active order, reopen directions, and return to the main menu at any point. Helpful error messages preserve the cart if a slot fills mid-order.

The owner’s side

Run the day from the same chat.

The private admin menu lives inside Telegram, behind an approved owner account. There is no dashboard to learn while the generator is running and the first briskets are coming off.

  • Publish today’s stopChoose a saved Nashville location or enter a new address, set opening and closing times, review, then publish.
  • Flip an item to sold outTap the menu item once and confirm. It disappears from new carts immediately without interrupting orders already confirmed.
  • Manage the rushPause new pre-orders, close a pickup window, or reopen ordering when the ticket rail clears.

Tech notes

Lean enough for a truck. Solid enough for lunch rush.

The bot is scoped as a focused ordering layer, not a sprawling restaurant platform. Telegram handles the interface and identity; a small application handles menu state, pickup capacity, and the order ledger.

Customer and admin paths use the same current data, so marking an item sold out or changing the stop takes effect on the very next tap.

$275 launch package: includes the customer order conversation shown here, today’s location and hours, priced menu with sold-out controls, pickup-slot selection, unique order-number confirmation, private owner controls, initial menu and saved-stop setup, and a concise handoff guide. Payment is recorded as due at pickup; card processing and its provider fees are optional future additions.

Telegram Bot API

Native inline keyboards make the flow fast on iPhone, Android, and desktop. The bot remains usable on slow mobile connections because each exchange is small.

Small persistent data store

Locations, hours, menu availability, time-slot capacity, and order numbers survive restarts. Each update is timestamped so stale service details can be detected.

Private admin authorization

Owner commands respond only to approved Telegram account IDs. Customer chats never expose stock controls, service summaries, or other guests’ order details.

Slot locks & idempotent orders

A short reservation lock prevents two customers from claiming the final space simultaneously. Repeat button taps cannot create duplicate tickets or order numbers.

Structured handoff

Menu items, prices, saved stops, slot size, tax setting, owner access, and help copy are configured at launch. The owner receives a concise command guide and test checklist.
